Retail Store Manager

The Role

Retail Store managers are responsible for the day-to-day operation of stores or departments. The aim of any retail manager is to maximize profits while minimizing the costs. We are looking for persons who can run a store successfully. Working on the shop floor, they are in constant contact with their customers and staff. They are responsible for ensuring their staff delivering great customer service as well as monitoring the financial performance of the store. The main roles of this position are as follows:

  • Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories.
  • Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
  • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
  • Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
  • Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
  • Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.


  • At least 3 years in working experience in store Manager/Supervisor position;
  • Effective leadership and the ability to motivate others;
  • The ability to plan and prioritize workloads and delegate accordingly;
  • Customer focus;
  • The ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
  • A desire to work as part of a team to generate fresh and innovative ideas.



Managing Director Personal Assistant

The Role

  • Manage the MD’s calendar, including time, tasks and scheduling all appointments and meetings.
  • Manage weekly and monthly reporting from different departments
  • Maintain an effective computer based filing system and manual filing system (where appropriate)
  • Handle incoming emails as well as other issues and report to Managing Director
  • Handle telephone calls of Managing Director
  • Documentation and correspondence follow-up
  • Assist in providing all supporting documents, information and other reports as assigned by Managing Director
  • Handling CEO guests, customers and clients
  • Coordinates office management activities
  • Handle and prioritize all outgoing or incoming correspondence (email, letters, packages etc.)
  • Handle confidential documents ensuring they remain secure


  • A minimum of 5 years experiences as an Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant or Secretarial experience at managerial levels.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Integrity and confidentiality
  • Speak, read, and write fluently in English and Persian
